Looks good. Bettany playing the sea-going naturalist again, eh.
Here's the official site:
Creation (no Flash) Creation (Flash)
The Flash version of the site is nice, but it took ages to load on my computer.

 USA Release Date
I went looking for a release date in the US and found nada. The IMDB has 7 counties and their release dates but the US is not among them.
In the non-flash link above posted by Susan there is a British article posted under "Latest News" that explains that this movie is not scheduled for release in US theaters at all.
The article says it is about a "possible" religious (over)reaction and one of the comments says that it is probably about lack of ticket sales (money).
It might be just that some British "period" movies are not the movie-of-choice for many here. Since the "Da Vinci Code" movie and book were wildly successful in the US (and everywhere else), I think the religious subject matter of "Creation" would not, in itself, keep people away.
Frankly, there has not been any reaction to the movie here (to my knowledge) since there has not been any promotion whatsoever.
For whatever reason, I expect I will have to wait for cable to see it. Shame.

Yes, I was chatting with Mil about this movie not being released in the US, for whatever reason.
As you said, have to wait for cable or DVD.
Here's a screenshot (Royal Marine, Darwin and FitzRoy):

Looks like "Creation" may be headed to American theaters after all.

I hope those who wish to see it are able to do so, and enjoy it. I did!

I found a slightly different USA release date (January 22, 2010) at IMDB. CLICK HERE

"Creation" opened today but as I suspected, only in a limited number of theaters. In my particular case, there is no theater in the Commonwealth of Virginia showing this movie (at least as far as I can determine). Rats! I guess I will be forced to wait for the DVD after all.
Maybe others in the U.S. will have better luck.

I was reading recently where the DVD extras also include "clips of scientists talking about the religious implications of evolution ... and also include contributions from a religous thinker ....", which sounds interesting.

I finally got a chance to view "Creation" but not in a theater as I wanted. It was excellent.
Spoiler alert! Spoiler alert!
I knew before I viewed it that it was mostly about Charles Darwin's agony about his daughter's (Annie's) death and the impact of her death on his ability to finish and publish his book.
The movie was based on "Annie's Box" (Click Here), a novel by Randal Keynes.
The young actress that plays Anne/Annie (Martha West) looks amazingly like the real Annie's portrait and does an incredible job. Paul Bettany seems to fit very well into a character with a soul in torment ("The Da Vinci Code"). I also flashed back to his and his young friend's role in "A Beautiful Mind" which will make sense if you view both films.
This movie will graphically remind you of the poor state of medicine of the period.
I was hoping for some scenes of the "Beagle" sailing but that was not to be. There is an incident from the Captain Robert FitRoy's first voyage that contained a few on-board scenes but nothing substantive for AoS fans... and there was nothing about the Galapagos Islands.
