Post Chapman gunboats
Hi !!

I'm new on this forum and look for informations about swedish Chapman flat boats, specially gunboats ( like kanonslup or kanonchalupp )

I'll build a shipmodel of a french gunboat 1803, inspired of Chapman ships but I look for ribs details specially front and rear places ...

Here's my website adress : http://www.bateau-canonnier-1803.sitew.com/#Accueil.A

I thank you very much by advance to help me guys ( plan, pictures, shipmodels, website , .. ) !!!

Eugène :D

Hi

Thanks very much Cy !
I know this adress but regrettably there's no plan of ship I work on ..

I look for picture or draw like this, to see front and rear details of 1780/1790 swedish kanonslup ribs ( wood parts )

( it's just an exemple of other ship )

Have you tried the Krigsarkivet or Statens Sjohistoriska Museum in Stockholm?
Alternatively, Lars Bruzelius may know the answer:

Welcome aboard, Eugène! I'm sure we are all keen to balance things off a little and have some input about the French navy.

Welcome again....
