Post Ship's carpenter on HMS Diadem
I am looking for help to trace a Dane (or Norwegian) called ANDERS JENSEN who later adopted the surname SCHOUBORG.
In 1812, having been a POW in Plymouth, he was released and boarded HMS DIADEM supposedly to go to Chatham.
Ten years later, in 1822, he was married to a plantation owners daughter in Jamaica and became a rich man.

The problem is finding how he got to Jamaica! I know from London Gazette that Diadem was in Chesapeake Bay on 24 June 1813. Could this Anders Jensen, a ships carpenter by trade, have been taken on as crew on Diadem? and did Diadem call at Jamaica?

This is a man with a very interesting history, of which these ten years are missing.
Any help or hints gratefully received.
