A Fitzroy barometer has recently come in to my possession,strange that it coincides with 150yrs of the Met.

Back to why Napoleon did not invade Britain, here is a quote repeated on Wikipedia

There is a rather poor reproduction of the cartoon in the Wikipedia page on Napoleon's planned invasion. The creator of the cartoon is not named in these pages.
